THE STORY
A Family United by Food
When my youngest brother Batzelme was diagnosed with epilepsy at just 9 years old, our family faced an impossible choice: watch him suffer through seizures, or put him on an extreme ketogenic diet that would isolate him from every meal his friends enjoyed.
At first, it was a battle. Every lunch. Every dinner. A young boy watching others eat freely while he couldn't. But something unexpected happened—this challenge brought us closer. It forced us to think differently about food.
My father, Boldbat Ochir, a retired police detective with a serious demeanor but a genius in the kitchen, began experimenting. He drew from our Mongolian heritage—grass-fed meats, wild seabuckthorn, ancient nomadic wisdom—and combined it with everything our family learned living across England, France, the United States, and Mongolia over three decades.
What started as a necessity became our mission. My middle brother Batod (23), our creative director, helped us see that this wasn't just about Batzelme anymore. It was about everyone who deserves food that's both delicious and genuinely healthy. Food that doesn't compromise. Food that connects us to something real.
"We're not just building food brands. We're proving that health and flavor aren't enemies—they're partners. And we're doing it with the ingredients and traditions that sustained nomadic warriors for millennia."
